Policies/Pricing

We accept Visa, Master Charge, American Express through online payment.
All orders over 500.00 are prepaid, orders under 500.00 have 50% deposit for work to proceed
All Special orders are prepaid and non-refundable.
Proofs: If required, first proof is at no charge, subsequent proofs are 12.50 each. They are for spelling only.
Changes in language or layout may incur art charges of 25.00 to 150.00. Proofs will slow down the processing of your order.

Engraving

.45 per character

Update plates (if we have not done the original piece) require a previous plate - $10.00 setup + .45 per character – We cannot guarantee exact duplication of font. Oxidized @ 4.50 small plates.

General Turnaround of Orders

4 to 10 days dependent upon season and complexity of the order. Rush orders within 48 hours may incur extra charges

Logos/Special Art

Acceptable format for all logos and Special Art: Vector files in AI or CDR - Other formats maybe be acceptable. If they are not, then art charges will be incurred.
Logo for Engraving – Black and White, NO shades of grey - high resolution - must be digitized for our equipment @ 50.00 each
Logo – Laser Etched – Black and White – NO shades of grey – high resolution
Special Art for lasering or printing may incur art charges if the file needs to be manipulated – cost TBD
Photographs – high resolution jpg files.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE CAN A LOGO BE USED FROM A WEB SITE.

Product Boxing/Gift Wrap

Gift wrap (with paper and ribbon) is available: Small @ 7.50; Large @ 10.00
To be as green as possible we will reuse the manufactures boxes.
Plaques may be wrapped in brown paper or a foam bag rather than a white box with a stretch tie.
Other objects, depending on their fragility, will be wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap, foam bag or cardboard.
Please advise what the circumstances are for presentation so we can determine the best packaging for you.

Shipping and Delivery

We use the least expensive and fastest service which will be added to your order. It is dependent on your time frame. We use UPS. Delivery service is available within the immediate Boston area. If you have a regular courier service, we suggest that you use that.
Orders being shipped directly from our manufactures will use their preferred method and costs will be added to your invoice.

After many years in Boston, Debbie Taylor-Smith and Rene Chavez opened A Simply Sassy Design located in Melrose, Massachusetts, a lovely suburb of Boston. With 50 + years of experience in the awards and personalization industry they want to continue to do what they enjoy most and do best.

Products range from the traditional to the contemporary and edgy. Using state of the art equipment, in house we engrave metal, laser etch Crystal, glass, acrylic and wood (that we stock), Sublimation and UV printed products with vivid full color.

If you are looking for that one-of-a-kind recognition, we combine the talents of our graphic artist and the talented artists of our outside vendors, to create the unique and unusual for you.
